This informative booklet includes a driving tour map and explores Sarasota’s rich architectural legacy. The majority of the buildings represented on the Tour celebrate a body of regional architecture called the Sarasota School of Architecture, built from 1940 – 1970. The booklet received the 2010 Outstanding Preservation Education/Media Award from the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation.
